Mark Lucas is a director/producer who has directed comedy, sports, music, documentaries, reality series, music and awards shows all over the world. He has worked on live broadcasts, live streaming and has won many awards including Emmy, ACE Cable, and many others. He has directed many special events including the 2012-2013 Daytime Emmy Awards, Golden Gods music awards in 2012-2013, and TV Globo live coverage of their huge Carnaval show in Rio’s Sambadrome in 2009-2012. He directed the shooting of the “We Are the World” remake, working with numerous celebrity talent, created in response to the Haiti earthquake in 2010.
Some of Mark’s more notable music credits include shooting live concerts for Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, Incubus, and many more. In the sports world, Mark directed Olympic venues for NBC Sports, the first 16 live shows of Ultimate Fighting Championships, Pan Am Games for CBS Sports, and a wide range of sports. Documentary work has taken Mark to India, Hawaii, Australia, Brazil, South Africa, the U.K., Germany, Saudi Arabia and all over the US.
His clients include ABC Sports, HBO Sports, Yorkshire TV (UK), TV Globo (Brazil), and many others. He has reality show experience on Bully Beatdown (MTV), Gone Country (CMT), and is developing new shows.
